Bug! participates in Francorp focus group

Chicago, IL.  Bug! CEO, Kevin Seney was chosen to participate in the Inaugural Franchise Marketing event at Francorp Headquarters in Chicago, IL.  Francorp CEO, Don Boroian, and President, Patrick Callaway, co-authors of, “Franchising Your Business” were in attendance and featured keynote speakers.  Over 100 Franchise CEO’s were in attendance.

  1. I commend you for continuing your education on franchise development by attending the Francorp Annual Meeting. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to participate in our event. I feel that in order to be a strong franchisor, continuing education is a necessity. As you know one of the key components to growing a franchise in a difficult economy is having a strong marketing plan so that you are generating an appropriate amount of leads. I know that you will have the opportunity to put some of the tools that we discussed to good use. You are doing a great job as a new franchisor. Keep up the good work.

  3. Thank you Kevin. Do you see any parallels in Real Estate marketing to the issues we discussed pertaining to franchise marketing? I would imagine that Bug Realty has some pretty interesting marekting ideas for selling Real Estate. You already have a great introductory marketing concept with your name and the VW “Bug” connection. Great Idea by the way. The wraps look great too. I am sure that the agents from other real estate companies are far less noticable than your agents in their bugs.

  4. So much of what we have done was based on the book, “The Purple Cow” which is about marketing yourself by being “remarkable.”

    We are flooded with information nowadays, and it is critical that you stand out. Also, you need to use other media, rather than traditional print media. The web is good, but Blogging is better.

    I would do a whole section, just on Blogging.

  5. As Kevin says, you need other advertising. My step was to have a BUG! Real Estate jungle finished. We, Kevin and I began an advertising blitz on the radio, here in Western Colorado, where the least BUGS are. We have had calls immediately after the ad runs, been stopped by other Realtors…one with the comment he just heard our ad! Then, emails from Realtors who know me personally, email of encouragement. I am for radio…finding that the BUG car fits well into the format here. Going to keep radio as my Primary advertising. We can change the message at will, and know now, from the response (none from paper print) that our ads are working! Our Blog has turned into a staple and a great email product. People get hooked to see what comes next! BEEP. BEEP! Patti Barrett
